LA Biz Ladies Meet-Up

I met some seriously stylish women at the Design Sponge Biz Ladies Meet-Up last Wednesday. It was truly a delightful evening, filled with mini-cups, amazing furniture, and informative speakers. To me being in L.A. is like being on a t.v. show. Everyone is really pulled together (hair, make-up, clothes) and looks familiar. Like you've seen them on a reality show or they were an extra on The Hills.

Grace (in the blue sundress) gave us a quick presentation on how to market your indie business.

Billie and Tootie from Reform School gave us the 411 on their store and how they find designers and artist.

Lindsay Horstman from Smith Barney recommended the book On My Own Two Feet and told us to start saving.

Tanya AguiƱiga gave us career advice and a little marketing tip too.

I knew someone from a reality show was there! Kit Pistol, from Project Runway was there to soak up info like the rest of us. She is photographed with Grace and Julie Wolfson from LAist. How cool is that, right?

Below are some post from other bloggers who attended, check them out.
